ROCHE HARBOR The fourth annual Salmon Classic Invitational, a three-day sport fishing extravaganza that attracts anglers from all over the Northwest and Canada, is February 8 through 10, 2007 at Roche Harbor Marine & Resort.

“With more than $25,000 in cash and prizes, the tournament brings out fishermen from all walks of life to our island waters,” says organizer Debbie Sandwith. Cash prizes include $10,000 for first place, $5000 for second place, $1500 for third place, and $1000 for fourth place. Each night, donated prizes are drawn from prominent fishing tackle companies such as Frabill, Scotty, Shimano, Lamiglas, Simrad, and Berkley. In addition, each angler qualifies for the grand prize drawing, a top-of-the-line fishing boat package as part of the Northwest Marine Trade Association Derby Series.
