“Walpurgisnacht”, A German Celebration of Spring is the theme for the Aurora Colony Historical Society’s 20th Annual Fundraising Dinner and Auction.
Entertainment will include music from a brass quintet of the New Aurora Colony Band. The evening of Fun, Frolic and FUNdraising will be held on April 26, 2008 in The Woodlands at Wellspring Medical Center, Woodburn, Oregon. Dinner Tickets are $55.00 and need to be purchased in advance. Featured items include a pig roast at the Stauffer-Will Farm, fishing trip, wine tour, a visit from Santa, and a gardening basket.
In addition, the raffle winner of a trip to Germany, the homeland of the Aurora Colonists, will be drawn at the end of the evening. Tickets are on sale NOW at the museum for $25.00 with a maximum of 1000 tickets sold. Estimated retail value $4000. You need not be present to win.
